The province has declared the second of Thursday of September as “Stand up against bullying day” to perpetuate the anti-bulling crusade that took root at Central Kings Rural High School this time last year.

Schools throughout Nova Scotia are encouraged to mark the day, September 11 this year, in various ways to keep the thought alive.

School board chairwoman Parrish-Zwicker says the AVRSB “is proud to be the home of the message, and to support efforts to keep it active.”
