Cribbage Tournament

December 29 Cribbage Tournament at the Middleton Legion Branch #1, registration at 12 noon, play starts at 1 p.m. All entrance monies returned in prizes. Canteen available. Members and guests welcome. Must be 19 years of age. Call 825-4751 for more information.

Free family skate

December 29 The Lawrencetown Recreation Commission is using funds from the Betty Illsley Memorial to host a Free Family Skate at the Lawrencetown Youth Arena from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. All families welcome.

Christmas Bird Count

December 29 Annapolis Field Naturalists Society will sponsor the annual Christmas Bird Count on Saturday, Dec.r 29. All are welcome to take part, either as field observers or feeder watchers, no experience necessary. To participate call Jerri Costa (532-7420) or Dave Tinker (532-2916).

Silver Bells

December 31 New Year’s Eve Gala at the Annapolis Legion, 9 p.m. to 1a.m. Back by Popular Demand! Ring in the New Year to the music of the Annapolis Big Band. Tickets $25. Call Historic Gardens 532-7018 or ARCAC 532-7069.

Palliative Care Training

January (All Month) Do you have a few spare hours a month to volunteer with Mid Valley Palliative Care Services? We will be operating training sessions for new volunteers beginning in January. For more information, call David Sanford at 825-4994.

Bridgetown Levee

January 1 The Town Of Bridgetown and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #33 invite the public to attend their annual New Year’s Levee to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #33, 20 Jeffrey Street, Bridgetown from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Official Greeting and Announcement at 11:30 a.m. Refreshment and nourishment at 12 noon.

Family Skating Party

January 1 The Lawrencetown & District Lions Club will be hosting a free family skating party at the Lawrencetown Youth Arena on New Years Day from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Everyone welcome.

Closing Out Sale

January 3-20 Closing out Sale, January 3 to 20, every Thursday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Including some fixtures. Fun-Day Bargains, 407 Main Street, Lawrencetown.

Breakfast
