 - WHYNOT, Horace R. - 65, of Liverpool, Queens Co., passed away peacefully in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Liverpool, he was the son of the late Raymond and Edith (Anthony) Whynot. Horace was a member of the Queens Association of Supportive Living in Milton. He participated in Special Olympics for many years. He loved to do woodworking, yard work and decorating for Christmas. Horace is survived by his sister Elizabeth Whynot of Liverpool and his brother Basil (Sandra Lowe) of Liverpool; nieces: May Whynot, Ann Whynot and Nicole Whynot; nephews Raymond Whynot and Ricky Whynot. He was predeceased by several infant sisters and brothers. Funeral service was held Monday, July 21, 2008 in Chandlers' Funeral Chapel, Liverpool. Rev. Fred Carr officiated. A private family burial will be held at a later date following cremation. Family flowers only, donations may be made to Queens Association for Supportive Living or Special Olympics.
