 - HUSKINS, James Lester - 83, of Queens Manor, Liverpool, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Queens Manor. Born in Port Mouton, he was the son of the late James F. and Nellie S. (Smith) Huskins. Lester was a former member of the Royal Canadian Army Corps. He worked for Bowater Mersey Paper Company in Brooklyn for 34 years in the TMP plant. He is survived by his wife Gertrude (Whynot); daughter Deborah (Merle) Smiley of Port Medway; son Robert (Jean) of Liverpool; grandchildren: Rene Donovan (Dwayne David) of Louisdale, Trevor Smiley (Shirley Casey) of Liverpool, Shelly, at home, Christopher (Lana Conrad) of Lower Sackville, Tracy (Douglas) Richards of Hunt’s Point, Keshia of Hunt’s Point; great granddaughter Paige Donovan; sisters: Winnie Wagner of West Berlin, Connie MacAdams of Acton, ON, Rosalyn (Donald) Henderson of Sandy Cove. He was predeceased by a son Wayne; grandson Corey; sisters Joyce and Marjorie; brother Isaiah. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool.
