November 18, 2007 to November 24, 2007 continued

 - Kay (Borysowich) Rogers  – 88, of Greenwood, N.S. passed away peacefully in Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Nov. 20, 2007.  Born in the Regional Municipality of Broken Head, MB, in 1919 she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Borysowich. She was predeceased by husband Cecil Thomas Rogers of Sioux Lookout, ON.  Kay lived and worked in Sioux Lookout since 1950 and retired from her position with Ontario Home Support at age 75. She was an avid gardener and an active member of the Sacred Heart Parish. She also enjoyed various hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, tatting and sewing. She resided with family in Greenwood, NS from 2003 until her passing. She is survived by son, Thomas Cyril (Frances), Calgary, AB, daughter Karen Martin, Greenwood, NS, grandsons David (Sarah), Calgary, and Troy Martin, Toronto, ON, granddaughters Richelle (Russell) Gregg, Middle Sackville, NS, and Susan (Jay) St. Jules, Calgary and four great-grandchildren, Tony, Zoey, Kori and Paul of Calgary. She is also survived by brothers William, Beausejour, MB, Emil (May), Winnipeg, John (Anne), Beausejour and many nieces and nephews.  Kay leaves behind many friends and family who loved her dearly and will miss her always. A memorial service will be held in Sioux Lookout at a later date. Special thanks are sent out to Dr. Yafai and the staff at Soldiers Memorial Hospital and the Transitional Care Unit in Middleton, NS.
