 - Gladys C. Naugler, 87, of Hillsview Acres, Middlefield, Queens County, formerly of Moose Harbour, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, Friday, January 5, 2007. Born on Little Tancook Island, she was a daughter of the late Ainsley and Celestia (Cross) Levy. She was an avid knitter, loved music and was a “people person�?. She is survived by her husband, Gordon; daughter, Shirley (Ralph) Conrad-Head of St. Margaret’s Bay; sons: Laurie (Georgina) of Halifax, Lloyd (Barbara) of Moose Harbour; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters: Jean (Avery) Croft of Western Head, Phyllis (Gerald) Wolfe of Mersey Point; brother, Harvey (Emma) of Mersey Point. She was predeceased by granddaughter, Karen; sisters: Evelyn, Ena and Maude in infancy; brothers, Leslie and Ralph. Funeral service was held at Liverpool Salvation Army Citadel, Monday, Jan. 8; Major Henry Bingle officiated. Burial in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Bog Road, Liverpool. Donations may be made to Salvation Army, Liverpool Corps or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Online condolences may be made to www.chandlersfuneral.com.
