From left, Dorene McMaster, consultant Angela Morin, recreation director Meg Cuming, Warden Diana Brothers and Peggy McNeil presented the original panels  depicting McMaster Mill to the county as a memento of the project.

Last month, Kings County was presented with paintings by Larry Lee depicting what McMaster Mill’s operation would have looked like during its heyday

. The artwork is incorporated in interpretive signage at the McMaster Mill Historic Park, home of the former Rockville Company’s mill, which was officially opened in October 2013.

I had the privilege of meeting this phenomenal artist in Aylsford NS last summer and was in awe as I watched him work on the mural... He was close to the end of this project and when I walked in amazement all the way to the beginning and back up again , I stopped to speak with this very pleasant man and asked his permission to take a picture of him and his work.... What a GIFT he was Blessed with and how blessed we are, the Community, to know him and enjoy his work!!!
