There will be a free afternoon of snow fun at Milford House from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 1.

Charlie and Val Richard with Ruth Bowe, managers of Milford House and Annapolis County Recreation invite you and your family to enjoy an entirely free afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 1.

Take in the sights enjoy birding and for the more adventurous types take up skiing, snow shoeing, kick sled, hiking, and skating (if it is safe) -- there will be something for everyone. Gear can be provided through the recreation department.

Enjoy a tour of the grounds; see any number of the 28 lakeside cottages, three of which are year round rentals and if you have any questions about the area ask Charlie or Val, together they have shared the pleasures and  lifestyle of Milford House for almost 30 years.

The cottage named after John Hentz, (one of the original shareholders dating back to 1969), will be a resting spot with warm beverages, fresh home made goods, including gluten free treats.

Celebrate nature and be surrounded by the wondrous outdoors on Geier and Boot lakes (also named after an original shareholders of Milford House from 1969). Milford House is located in South Milford, 5296 Highway 8.
