There were six tables of 45s in play at the Rebekah Hall on Dec. 7. Prizewinners were ladies’ 1st, Sheilah Wiles; ladies’ 2nd, Janet DeMille; gents’ 1st, Roxie Redden; gents’ 2nd, Gary Wheeler; 30/60, Betty Jean Smith and 50/50, Freda Beattie.

Christ Church would like to thank the public for the great support of An old-fashioned Christmas, held Dec. 6 and 7. It was a wonderful success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

The Chris Palmer Christmas concert held at the Berwick Legion Dec. 8 raised $1,650 for the Berwick and District Food Bank. Well done!

At the South Berwick Community Centre, Dec. 10, there were six tables of 45s in play. Prizewinners were ladies’ 1st, Minnie Hamilton; ladies’ 2nd, Marilyn Baptie; gents’ 1st, Warren Hamilton; gents’ 2nd, Rupert Reeves; 30/60, Freda Beattie; 50/50, Janet DeMille; door prize, Minnie Hamilton. By the time you read this, the card parties will have stopped, restarting Jan. 7.
