Several hundred gathered at the municipal administration centre in Hebron Friday evening for what is becoming an annual tradition.

The Municipality of Yarmouth's tree lighting event is about more than just lighting a tree.

It is a family event that features cookie decorating for the kids (and all those with a sweet tooth) and hay rides around the municipal centre. Santa is always a hit. Seated in the warmth of the lobby, he provides lots of opportunities for photos and whispered requests. Ho!Ho!Ho!
