A bouncing baby boy was welcomed at Valley Regional Hospital on Jan. 1. Jack Linden Gates arrived at 10:05 a.m. to help his parents, Eve Rowsell and Jon Gates, ring in 2013, becoming the New Year's baby for the hospital. Jack weighed eight pounds and three ounces. - Submitted
