The Waterville Baptist Church revived the age-old hanging of the greens tradition at a special service held Dec. 1. Congregants and youth members, including, from left, siblings Courtney, Tamara and Aubrey Pinch and Irish Thorpe were among those who gathered for an afternoon of fellowship to prepare the church for the Advent season by hanging greenery traditionally associated with everlasting life.
