The Yarmouth Area Cancer Support Group will meet Wednesday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at the Sobey’s community room, Starrs Road, Yarmouth. There will be a pie and bake auction at the Forest Glen Community Centre July 19 at 7 p.m. Proceeds for the family of the late Tyler Allen.

Garden sale

On Saturday, July 19, the Yarmouth County Museum’s annual garden sale takes place from 9 until 1. Used items, antiques, baked goods, plants, etc. will be available.

Washer tournament

July 19

There will be a washer tournament ($20 a team) at the K of C hall in Rocco Point Saturday, July 19. Late registration 9:30, play starts at 10. Cash prizes, canteen open. Info and to register: 902-648-3066.

Prayer service

July 20 An outdoor ecumenical prayer service will be held on the grounds of Villa St. Joseph-du-Lac Sunday, July 20, at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served following the service. Bring your own chairs.

Veterans’ reunion planned
