Basketball camp

July 3-6 A Kids in Motion Basic Skills Basketball Camp will be held at Annapolis West Education Centre July 3 to 6 for ages 7 to 16 years. The co-ed camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Cost is $70. Contact Maurice Parker at 532-0765.

Roast beef supper

July 6 A roast beef supper will be held July 6 at the West Dalhousie Community Hall from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Adults, $8; Under 12, $4.

Brunch, games, auction & dance

July 7 Events at the West Dalhousie Community Hall July 7: Brunch, 11:00-12:30 (adults $5; under 12 $2.50); Children’s Games, 11:30-1:00; Chinese Auction, starts at 11:00/draw at 2:00; Dance with the Good Feeling Band, 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. ($8 per person; $15 couple.)

Yard Sale

July 7 The annual yard sale will be held July 7 at the United Baptist Church, Melvern Square.

Harry Manx in concert

July 7 Folk-World-Blues performers Harry Manx is in concert Saturday, July 7 at 8 p.m. at King’s Theatre in Annapolis Royal. Tickets: $18 Advance; $20 Door; $12 Youth.

Garden tour

July 7 Annapolis Royal Community Garden Tour will be held July 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The tour showcases special public and private gardens in historic Annapolis Royal. This is a fundraiser for the Historic Gardens. For tickets & information phone 532-7018.

Strawberry supper

July 7 A strawberry supper will be held at the Inglisville Community Hall July 7 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Includes casseroles, salads, baked beans etc. and strawberry shortcake. Adults $6; children under 12 get in for $3. Everyone welcome. Proceeds Inglisville Baptist Church.

July 7 Come enjoy breakfast at the Bridgetown Lions Hall July 7 on Church St., from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Free will offering.

Flea Market

July 7 Flea Market at the Middleton Train Station July 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Strawberry Supper

July 7 Enjoy a Strawberry Supper at the Tupperville Hall July 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. Adults $9 and children under 12, $6. Tickets available on painting by Cluny Maher.

Supper

July 7 Enjoy Turkey-a-la-king, a garden salad and dessert for only $6. Supper from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Margaretsville Baptist Church Vestry. Proceeds for the church kitchen.

Annual Meeting

July 9 The Upper Room Food Bank’s annual meeting, July 9, starts at 7:30 pm at the Food Bank, 669 Main Street, Kingston. The general public and all interested persons are invited to attend.

Strawberry Supper

July 10 Come to the St. George & St. Andrew United Church in Annapolis Royal July 10 from 5:00-6:30 and enjoy home cured ham, salads, rolls and strawberry shortcake. Adults $8; children 12 and under $5. Takeout available, call 532-7954.

Cemetery committee meeting

July 11 A meeting of the Riverside Cemetery Committee July 11 starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Bridgetown Legion. All members are encouraged to attend.

Lobster Supper

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

July 15 Celebrate 25 years of Annapolis Region Community Arts Council 2-4 p.m. July 15 at Hillsdale House in Annapolis Royal. Tickets at Hillsdale, ArtsPlace, at the door $10.

Bible school

July 16 Daily Vacation Bible School at the Clarence Baptist Church from July 16 to 20, between 1:30 to 3;30 p.m., for children aged 4 to 12 years. Sponsored by the Genesis Christian Mission. For more information, contact Rev. George Mollins, 825-3650.

Children’s parade

July 21 The Heart of the Valley Days IODE Children’s Parade July 21 will take place at 10 a.m. Registration behind Macdonald Museum at 9:30 a.m. Lots of prizes and fun for everyone.

Art show and sale

July 28 An Art Show and Sale will be held at the Tupperville Community Hall Saturday, July 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission free. Refreshments to be provided for $2 each by the Tupperville Women's Institute who are sponsoring this show which features original work by some 15 artists, photographers and crafts persons.
