Another string of car thefts occurred over Christmas in both Aylesford and New Minas.

The first report came in at 7:22 a.m. Dec. 24 from Pine Ave., when a truck owner reported a GPS system and coins stolen from a truck parked in a garage.

There were three more calls to police about thefts on the same street. All of the vehicles were unlocked.

December 26, some pills and cigarettes were taken from a vehicle parked in New Minas; then, Dec. 28 another vehicle was targeted on New Rd. in Aylesford, several more on Highbury Rd. and Colonial Cres. in New Minas.

December 29, an unlocked vehicle on McDow Rd. in North Kentville was entered and another damaged.
