Archway Insurance is ready to celebrate Insurance Broker Month ( April) with three nominations for industry awards. In addition, four employees will graduate with their Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) designations.
On April 2, brokers from across Nova Scotia will gather for the 7th Annual Insurance Brokers Association of Nova Scotia (IBANS) graduation and awards night. This event marks the beginning of Insurance Broker Month in Nova Scotia, and is a celebration of the independent broker channel and its achievements.

Long-term employee of Archway Insurance â Yarmouth Jane Durkee is nominated for the client service award. Nominees for this award demonstrate superior product knowledge, attention to detail in submissions and/or applications, personal knowledge of clients, timeliness in dealing with customer service requests, and add value to the company/broker relationship.
Regional commercial manager Sarah MacKinnon, based at Archway Insurance â SNC, is nominated for young broker of the year. Nominees in this category must be a member of IBANS Young Broker Network (YBN), active in professional development, the insurance industry and their community, involved in activities in their own brokerage, demonstrate superior product knowledge, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
Archway Insurance is nominated for brokerage of the year. Nominated brokerages must be active in both the insurance industry and the wider community, have an active professional development program (both in-house and through external sources), demonstrate corporate policies that promote good business practices, and outline their customer service initiatives.
