Soprano Sally Diblee and pianist Robert Kortgaard will appear in concert Sunday, Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. at the K.C Irving Centre Garden Room. Admission is by freewill offering.

A master class with Sally and Robert and the students of Acadia's School of Music will be held Saturday, Jan. 10 in Denton Hall at 3 p.m. The community, local music teachers and voice students (of all ages) are welcome to attend. Call the Acadia School of Music at 585-1512 for more information. Fee for attending the master class is $5.

Long-time musical colleagues and great friends, Dibblee and Kortgaard are delighted to present a program of beautiful songs and piano pieces Jan. 11 the Irving Centre. "Love is my reason...." is the concert theme.

With repertoire ranging from Franz Liszt, at the height of the Romantic period in music history, to the music hall sentimentality of Noel Coward and Ivor Novello, from intimate parlor songs of Mozart and Fauré to the soaring melodies of the operatic stage, Sally and Robert will send you away with a song in your heart.

Sally, a native and current resident of New Brunswick, has been thrilling audiences in the major opera houses of North America in roles such as Mimi in "La Boheme", Violetta in "La Traviata", and Cio Cio San in "Madama Butterfly". Robert appears regularly with Canada's finest instrumentalists and singers, and is an honorary Maritimer through his work as artistic director of the Indian River Festival on PEI each summer.
