Toronto videographers Andrea Agro and Leigh Anne Barlow will be shooting a documentary during the UFO Incident Festival.

“Our documentary will focus on the culture of Shag Harbour, and in a broader context of the Maritime culture of story telling,” said Agro in an email interview.

“We will explore the possible unifying and dividing impact of the incident and the re-telling of what occurred and how the story has been passed down,” she said. “Our goal is to document Canadian culture and meet the wonderful characters that shape stories in our country.”

The two will be arriving in Shag Harbour on Aug. 2 and would like to speak with “as many people as possible” during their five day stay who have any stories regarding the incident.

“We will also be getting a lot of footage of the festival too,” said Argo.

When completed the documentary will be entering in various documentary festivals, including Toronto’s “Hot Doc’s.”
