Shana inks licensing deal with FileNET

Edmonton-based Shana Corp. announced Wednesday a licensing deal with California-based document management software firm FileNET Corp.

FileNET will license, re-brand and sell Shana's electronic forms application, Aurora, as part of its Panagon Business Process Management (BPM) platform.

Panagon is a Web-based suite that culls data from business applications, e-mails, intranets, and databases to manipulate business information, automate workflows, and generate new content.

Shana said the deal extends the existing partnership between the two companies. Shana has been a FileNET ValueNET Partner for more than three years.

Financial terms of the deal were not released.
