Genesis, with offices in Thornhill, Ont. and Silicon Valley, makes chips used in flat-screen computer monitors.
Its earlier projections for the third quarter ending Dec. 31 were $36 million and $25 million (all figures in U.S. dollars).
But Genesis revised its forecast yet again Tuesday, since its contract wins have surpassed its own expectations and those of industry analysts, who were predicting sales of $36.9 million for the period.
Genesis now controls more than 48 per cent of the market for display chips used by brand-name makers of flat-panel computer screens. Some analysts say that could jump to 65 per cent once Genesis completes its takeover of rival Sage Inc.
Genesis will release its Q3 results in late January.
