Dundee Realty set to open on site of former theatre

The Dundee Realty Management Corp., the leasing and property manager, announced it will open its doors on Thursday for a guest-list only reception on the site of the former Famous Players Capital Square Theatres in Ottawa.

The Toronto-based realty firm plans to unveil its reconstructed office space on 230 Queen St. that will be home to the Canada Foundation for Innovations,

consisting of 30,000 square feet, a large skylight and atrium, and including a new lobby, elevator and washrooms.

Construction on the new office building began in the fall after the theatre has been closed for over a year.
