FranchiseMaster unveils new Web portal

Vancouver's FranchiseMaster said Friday its U.S. subsidiary, FranchiseMaster Technologies, will introduce its "First to Market" Vertical Portal during the upcoming International Franchising Association's 41st Annual Convention.

FranchiseMaster.com is a complete ASP-based Web portal designed to meet the specific business operating needs of the franchise community. It provides access to business services, information, products, buying and auction groups, as well as an extraordinary interactive communication network, FranchiseMaster said.

"After months of meticulous planning and the formation of a strong and strategic infrastructure, we can now positively penetrate the franchise community in a way that has never been done before," Kevin Rooney, president and founder of FranchiseMaster Technologies, said in a release. "We are thrilled that our vision is becoming a very exciting reality."

The convention takes place in Las Vegas Feb. 24 to 27.
